Patrick – is in the process of moving up to the next level at work which makes workdays quite busy. ADP, the owners, sold the company at the beginning of the month. Not the best timing, but we’re hoping there won’t be any big surprises.
Ashley – is giddy every single morning when she realizes something other than herself washed the dishes while she was sleeping. (Seriously, it’s like magic) She is still enjoying UT, but is counting down the days until she gets to make a trip home for her cousin’s wedding at the end of this month.
Preslee – has taught her mom the importance of genealogy work. Ashley has spent the last few weeks finding names and hoping to finish their temple work soon.
Ledger – is obsessed with making forts, he spends hours playing with his toys inside them. He anxiously awaits for his brothers’ nap time when he gets alone time with mom. He is finally interested in writing/coloring so mom spends afternoons teaching Ledger how to write. He still isn’t sure if he’s left or right handed, so holding and writing with a pencil is still a bit awkward.
Cannon – aka the Hulk usually destroys everything in his path. You can usually find him running around in circles wearing Ledger’s TMNT socks and a super hero cape.
Cruiz – this little sneak is the reason for all the locks on our cupboards. He talks nonstop, but we just can’t seem to understand him… (the same problem his mom had) but after the tantrums subside, you can usually find a sweet huggable boy who loves sneaking into Ledger’s room to steal his favorite toys.
Pog – has possibly benefited the most from our move to UT. A big fenced in yard allows her to run, and she’s lost quite a bit of weight. She is incredibly happy and laid back now and the UT groomers seem to love her, her change in personality makes Ashley happy she decided to keep her.
So cute....I love your updates. You are really close to the mountains. I love our mountains. We have a lot of diverse things to do because we are so close to the mountains and the desert. But you are an Idaho girl at heart so I'm sure you miss family and Preslee's place all the time. The bread thing is so funny. My grandson will NOT eat bread like that. He will finally eat a PB & J and French toast but not just plain bread. He will not eat the bread during sacrament on Sunday. We finally got him to eat a piece of Chex cereal (which is supposed to be for gluten intollerant people but if it works for him, that's all that matters). You have very sweet beautiful children.
ReplyDeleteHi Ashley... I sent you an email, I know that you said sometimes you don't reply. ;) I used to run my dishwasher at night also, until I was reading a blog and their dishwasher started a fire at night while they were sleeping. They all got out okay, thank the Lord. It never occurred to me that a dishwasher could start a fire. So, I started running mine in the evening, or on a Sunday when I'm cleaning.... and thankfully I stuck to that rule. One day I had it running and walked into the kitchen and stepped in water. It was a seal that needed replaced. If I had turned it on and went to bed... my house would have been flooded. I just wanted to let you know that. xo
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment, and thank you for thinking of me. I would have never thought about that. Thank you for sharing! So glad that family was safe with the fire :)
