We spent the afternoon at Pat’s mom’s house on Christmas Eve. We were the only ones there, which was nice, I get a little frazzled with big groups these days. Michele and Layne spoiled our kids, and the highlight of the afternoon was definitely a yellow remote control monster truck given to Ledger from Grandma and Grandpa. Ledger was off the walls with excitement. I was sad we left our camera at home, we only got a few with our phone.
Later that evening, we met up with everyone else at Dorsie and Terry’s house. We had an incredible dinner, each kid shared a talent, Ledger’s amazing talent was jumping and somersaults. Nine kids, well seven kids, the twins were sleeping, all under 3 1/2 years old acted out the Nativity scene. It was total chaos, but hilarious. Ledger thought wearing a towel on his head was the neatest thing, and kept it on the entire night. Whatever makes him happy right?

Pat found himself in the middle of a dance party… “What Does the Fox Say?”

Ledge and his towel. He also received Buzz Light Year jammies from Pat and I. Probably one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. He runs all over the house with his arms and tongue out, saying, “I’m flyin Mom, watch me!”
These two were great and slept almost the entire evening. And believe it or not, we did have a silent night!
Ledger and the boys scored some transformers, Pat and I are still trying to figure out how to work them.
Looks like it was a wonderful evening. It is just amazing to see Christmas through the eyes of little children. The wonder and awe on their faces and the excitement it contagious. Glad things went well and your babies slept through it. Happy New Year....I hope it is a good one for you and your family.
