The twins were blessed on October 13th, which happened to be my Birthday. I couldn’t have asked for a better present, and definitely made #26 pretty darn special.
(Cruiz, Cannon)
Thankfully church started at 1:00 pm. Pat and I were a little flustered that morning due to both babies screaming all morning long, and Ledger slipping in the tub and cutting his chin open. (Grandma Sullenger later put sterri strips on it) Luckily my mom dropped by before church which helped calm things down.
Pat gave two beautiful blessings, and to our surprise the babies didn’t cry. Pat and I were grateful for all the family support. There was a lot of love radiating from that circle surrounding the boys. Below are the men who stood in the blessing circle. Just missing Great Grandpa Siddoway and Rob.
Top Left: My brothers Dustin and Rhett, Middle: Grandpa Merritt, Grandpa Siddoway, Bottom: Uncle Jamie, Great Grandpa Wightman, Dad, Grandpa Sullenger
Dorsie and Terry went above and beyond and let us use their house to feed everyone after church. Terry was so kind and prepared most of the meal, which was incredibly helpful. It brought my stress level way down knowing everything was taken care of. I was beyond excited when Texas Roadhouse ribs and rolls were served. It made for an awesome Birthday dinner!

Ledger was thrilled to have all of his cousins in one place. He didn’t eat much, he was too busy playing.
My mom bought matching blessing outfits at White Elegance. Great Grandma Siddoway knitted the booties and white blankets.
Awe, we love both of you. You are definitely loved.
What beautiful photos!!! So happy for you and your family :)

ReplyDeleteWhere did you get your skirt? I love it!
ReplyDeleteJane.com it's one of the stretchy kind, and they say it fits all. Keep watching the site, they bring them on quite often.
DeleteThanks! I will.
DeleteWhat beautiful boys! What a blessing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful day it must have been....families are so important and it looks like you had lots of love and support. Glad the little boys are doing so well. They are getting so big....and that Ledger, well, he's just a doll. I really like the blessing outfits, blankets, and booties. And you look beautiful as always...the dark hair keeps throwing me off though!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute family, so happy that things are going well for you. I was very excited to see, in your family pictures, the Great-Grandpa Wightman! He was my Seminary teacher years ago at Minico High School in Rupert. Loved his classes and his beautiful singing voice. Brought back wonderful memories of good times and old friends. Thank you for sharing your family.
ReplyDeleteTheir blessing outfits are adorable! Where did you buy them? I'd love to get something like that for a blessing coming up, thanks
ReplyDeleteThank you! Elegance in White, or White Elegance. I can't remember now. They both had really similar outfits.
