6 Years

Dear Patrick,

Each year it seems like we take another surprise turn on the rollercoaster we’ve been riding; and with each passing year, I become more grateful you’re the one laughing in the seat next to me.

I’m not sure we’ll make it out to celebrate tonight with a toddler and premie at home, and another premie left to visit in the NICU, (takeout and a movie sounds great to me) but amongst all the stress and craziness we’re experiencing at the moment, just remember how much I love you.

Happy Anniversary babe, the past 6 years have definitely not always been what we expected, but I think we’re doing alright.
