How far along? 26 Weeks 5 days
Maternity clothes? I finally splurged on maternity bottoms and have been much more comfortable! I found a couple of pairs of shorts at Ross for cheap. I also bought some capri’s from Motherhood Maternity. Most days I live in Pat’s basketball shorts and T-shirts.
Stretch marks? Just the same ones from my last two pregnancies.
Sleep: If I eat something small before bed I don’t seem to wake up around 5 AM starving. This week I’ve had corn flakes before bed each night. :)
Miss Anything? I tried helping out in the Sno Shack opening week and I was pretty much useless.
Movement: The babies have started reacting to sound. Just this week, Pat started up the lawn mower and I instantly felt 8 limbs kicking and squirming. These two boys are already strong! It seems like there is usually always at least one baby moving, and I can no longer tell which baby is which, or what limb belongs to who.
Symptoms: Braxton hicks quite often. I didn’t get these with my other two, they are uncomfortable.
Food cravings: Ice. Whether I get it from a sno cone or from anywhere else I’m happy. We don’t have an ice dispenser so I hit up drive thru’s and ask for a large cup filled with ice. Pat has started bringing me home cups too… ha I’m officially that weird pregnant lady I made fun of while working in the Sno Shack in high school.
You may want to talk to your Dr. about your ice craving. They say it's sometimes a sign of anemia. I was anemic during both of my pregnancies and craved ice.
ReplyDeleteHaha I remember you distinctly telling me one day, "That's the fifth time I've seen that lady this week. Pregnant women crave the ice, it's crazy!" On a side note, are you taking an iron supplement? Sometimes people crave ice when they are anemic, like my sister-in-law does, but some people just crave ice because they are pregnant!
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pregnant lady!
ReplyDeleteI remember one thing that kind of frustrated me was never knowing which baby I was feeling! I never knew if I was feeling one baby all the time and not the other or what!
ah...you look so adorable!!! Enjoy these next few weeks where you can really still move around, cause soon you won't be able to move at all, but it will SOOOO be worth it! :)
