“Any day now, right?” is the question people seem to love asking me these days. I told Pat maybe I should just get one of these shirts… it would save me from having the same convo over and over again.
Last week it felt like a soccer match was taking place inside my stomach, and at my US (ultrasound) I learned Baby A flipped around, making both of them head down. They are now side by side, and during the US were crammed on the right side of my stomach. It wasn’t until just the other day that I’ve felt a baby on the left side of my bellybutton.
I’m 24 weeks along, measuring 32 weeks.
One baby is measuring in the 67th percentile, and the other is in the 71st percentile.
After Baby A flipped, the pain in my back lessened. Hallelujah.
Exhaustion is beginning to set in as I’m struggling to get comfortable at night and now am waddling like a pregnant lady in her 3rd trimester.
I’m constantly starving! I’ve been amazed at how much I can eat. Surprisingly I’ve only gained 17 pounds. Sounds like a lot huh? By the time I delivered Preslee I had only gained 20 lbs, and not much more with Ledger. But normal weight gain for mothers carrying twins is 37-54 pounds.
Only 12 more weeks to go!
Can't believe you are more than half way there. Seems to me it has gone super fast. I'm quite sure it doesn't seem that way to you though. :) Rejoicing with you as you await two more precious little guys. With our new little Kruz we are experiencing how much healing a new baby brings after child loss. They make the waiting to be reunited a little less painful.
ReplyDeletesuper cute picture! you look great!
ReplyDeleteYou look AMAZING!!!

ReplyDeletestunning is what you are! wow...i love hearing about your babies. thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYou ARE amazing! I think you are the most beautiful pregnant woman. I adore you in so many ways. It is remarkable to see The Lord extending His hand to you all. How do you stay so thin with little weight gain? I blew up with pregnancy....but then learned I have a thyroid disease, so maybe that was and still is my problem!
ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI've been following your blog for a long time but don't tend to leave comments. I just wanted to say congratulations on the news of your TWINS! What an incredible journey it is :) I have 6.5 month old twin girls and it's such an amazing experience to be a twin mom. It's definitely not without its challenges, but doubly rewarding! I truly feel like I'm 'one of the lucky ones' to get to experience twins. It's hard work carrying two babies and looking after a child on the outside while you're at it, but keep your eye on the prizeS, it will all be totally worth it! Congrats again! I'm so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteHow is Ledger handling the fact that mamma can't hold him as well as once before? I am sure its hard! But mamma you look amazing & I cannot say that enough... I cannot believe the boys will be here soon! EEK...
ReplyDeleteYou are darling....it brings a smile to my face to think about your little ones. I hope the rest of your pregnancy is smooth sailing (well, except for the sleep deprivation and uncomfortableness)!! Take good care of yourself and your babies and hubby and Ledger. WHEW!! Makes me tired just thinking about it!! LOL
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! congratulations
