I carried extremely high during my last two pregnancies; high enough that I’ve never needed to buy maternity pants. Well, with these two little peanuts inside of me, I’m already carrying differently, lower, and showing much faster.
I’m still wearing my regular pants, but they’ve become quite snug. After looking around our little area, I’ve decided we don’t have very many options for maternity clothes. I figure I’m going to get much bigger this time around, so I might as well be comfortable from the beginning :)
My question for all of you today is where is your favorite place to shop for maternity clothes? What’s your favorite store or website? (On the cheaper side) I told Pat I just might have to take a day trip down to SLC to hit up some stores…when the nausea dies down.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated!
I liked Old Navy. They fit great and I felt they were true to size. Maybe before you head into SLC you could check for consignment type stores where you could get them even cheaper?
ReplyDeleteI liked shopping online at old navy for maternity clothes. And the prices arent too bad either! Congrats on your two little peanuts :)
ReplyDeleteI loved Old Navy Maternity and Kohls.
ReplyDeleteI love Gap or Old Navy.
ReplyDeletehey im not sure if you are still near rexburg, but they just had a clothing swap, and i hear there is LOTS more things. I think they are going to donated them later tonight. if you are interested i think its a group, Rexburg Women's Clothing Swap. You don't need to take anything, i took 25 things and only brought back 3 so you can have my 22 leftovers :) but they had quite a bit of maternity!
ReplyDeleteold navy maternity pants were my favorite and reasonably priced! i have extras if you need them! and maxi skirts were my fav. look on instagram their name is @junky trunk you can order from, watch the sales! amazing! i regulary wear a 4-6 in pants and wore a medium skirt all through my pregnancies and those were my favorite!
ReplyDeleteHonestly if you take a trip down to SLC, I would suggest hitting D.I. (If you're not iffy about used clothing). I have found tons of Motherhood Maternity & Old Navy maternity clothes there and they're always super cheap.
ReplyDeleteAshley - I had my best luck with two places. First, Target. I bought so many tops there...they have a large maternity section! SEcond, Kohl's. I really loved Kohl's 'Oh Baby' line and I bought most of my jeans, pants and then capris when the weather warmed up. One time, I think they even had a 'buy one get one half off' sale on capris. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteTarget has some cute stuff and they have a band that you can use to make your regular jeans fit longer. I also have loved the pants from Motherhood, they don't cut you off in funny places and they aren't too tight. JC penny's has cute stuff for a good price too, but their pants aren't the best.
ReplyDeleteIt's been awhile since I've been preggers so I don't know if they are still cute, but I loved Old Navy;s stuff. It was comfy and not grandma looking. I also got stuff at Motherhood, but their stuff was kind of pricey.
ReplyDeleteI carried very low with both my pregnancies and I had to wear maternity pants from week 8! I loved motherhood maternity. I bought 2 pairs of pants and 2 pairs of shorts along with some tops. It can be a little pricier but I used them through my two pregnancies and my sister borrowed them during hers! They last so long and I will be able to use them with my next pregnancy as well. You really get what you pay for! Congratulations!
ReplyDeletehttp://www.motherhood.com/
I don't have any suggestions because I've never had a baby, but I just have to say you are absolutely stunning! You carry pregnancy so beautifully and I am so incredibly happy for you and your little family! You deserve all the happiness in the world! ♥
ReplyDeleteMy favorite place to get maternity pants is Motherhood maternity. But, honestly, all m-pants are a pain because they never seem to stay up! As for shirts, especially towards the end, look for really REALLY long ones. They will fit for the longest amount of time.
ReplyDeleteHere's a few places where I was able to find cheap maternity clothes: Old Navy, Kohls, Ross, Burlington Coat Factory, and there's always Motherhood. Good luck--I hope you find some good stuff!
ReplyDeleteI love consignment stores and thrift stores for maternity pants. It takes several trips sometimes, in order to find a really good pair, but that's about as cheap as it gets. I like the ones with the full belly panel, not the couple inch wide elastic. I think if you get this style from Motherhood Maternity, they call it "secret fit belly". Motherhood Maternity's clearance sales are alright, too.
ReplyDeleteRoss, Marshalls and TJ maxx. but mostly ross. their maternity stuff is always awesome
ReplyDeleteI had triplets last year and was needing maternity pants by 14 weeks! I feel your pain :) I bought some at Target and Old Navy and ended up liking the Old Navy ones best. I also had to get the full panel type because anything tight on my belly was very uncomfortable. I think it's because you stretch so much faster with multiples. I only made it to 24 weeks so I don't have too much advise for when you get into the later stages but I was the size of a full term singleton pregnancy by then. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteI love A Pea in a Pod. They have such cute clothes! This last pregnancy I wore leggings a lot. They are comfortable and you don't have to buy maternity!
ReplyDeleteI've hard Forever 21 has a great maternity section, at least online.
ReplyDeleteLOVE old navy online...they have great deals, i have bought most all my clothes this time around from them...stay with small and med size though they run big, im 5'4 and 31 week along about 128 lbs right now and med are pretty roomy still on me, the pants are pretty long and i get small and xs in those...the small pair i got a few months ago are still a little big on me so just remember they run big!...they always have sales on them. they also send out emails with coupons for discounts often totally worth it to sign up. they ship really fast too. CONGRATS to you and your family, its so fun to hear such a wonderful blessing is coming to you guys!
ReplyDeleteLoved Motherhood maternity, especially the pants. They had ones that covered my whole belly even when I was pregnant with my twins. I would also recommended especially toward the end to get some maternity tank tops. I got so big I couldn't button my maternity tops and the others would ride up my belly. But the tank top stayed down and I could wear my button tops open over it for modesty.
ReplyDeletei forgot to mention, since its winter and cold here in cedar and old navy didnt have a lot of long sleeved shirts i liked or i didnt want to pay $30 for a shirt just to wear it for a few months, i decided to order in the regular woman's section and got some really cute long sleeved shirts on there sale section and they fit perfect...I ordered Size MED and in the TALL and they are super great and can be worn after pregnancy without looking like maternity shirts :)
ReplyDeleteI had friends that would swear up and down about Gap maternity, but we didn't have a store in town that sold them, so I was always so afraid to buy something that wouldn't work or would make me feel worse. We did have an Old Navy with Maternity and they were great. Because they are basically the same company, I'm sure that it wouldn't be that big of a difference, but it would hit the wallet a little harder if I bought from Gap instead of Old Navy.
ReplyDeleteSince you're going to be going through the summer with this pregnancy, I would suggest dresses. Dresses dresses and more dresses. Seriously, they are just SO MUCH MORE COMFY than pants.
I love that you're having twins!!!!
My favorite maternity pants are a brand called Lilac(I think). They are super expensive, around $100 but I found several pairs on the deal of the day sight, babysteals.com for $40. They are amazing. You cannot tell they are maternity pants and are great for after babies comes too. It's hit and miss when the sight offers them but if you ever find them I highly recommend. FYI-they are called tummy trimmer pants I believe because they aren't exclusively maternity pants. They are also made for people with muffin tops! I'm sure which ever pants you find you'll look great!
ReplyDeleteRoss has super cute Maternity clothes, although I've only ever seen their summer selection. Yoga pants are my go to during pregnancy, I'm not a fan of maternity pants, they never fit right and I found the hips in Old Navy stuff to bubble weird, but maybe they've solved that issue since my last pregnancy.
ReplyDeleteRoss has a great selection for maternity wear. I found inexpensive, but very comfortable maternity pants at Old Navy and Motherhood Maternity. I would splurge a bit more on comfortable pants and buy more inexpensive tops at Ross and TJ max. I also loved wearing stretchy skirts because they were so comfortable around my belly. I show quickly and carry only in my abdomen due to a tilted pelvis. I too had to begin wearing maternity clothing only a few months.
ReplyDeleteSo you don't have to sacrifice style and not break the bank, here's a secret I live by! Go on ebay and swarch paige jeans maternity, 7 jeans maternity, etc! Also search a pea in the pod maternity! These clothes are hundreds in store but hardly anything on ebay!
ReplyDeletei'm particularly fond of old navy, for comfort and price. and target has some decent basics if you're lucky to find them. i bought a lot of my stuff at motherhood maternity during my first pregnancy and was happy with my purchases, but the sales staff always seem to be too curious about my pregnancy and just won't leave me alone while i'm there! so, online would probably be the way to go if you're going to shop there. also, carly has a quick diy up on her blog on making your own maternity jeans. i'm so making some this time around. c:
ReplyDeletehere's the link, if you're interested:http://www.carlykmyta.com/carly-kmyta/2012/12/quick-maternity-jeans-diy.html
My very favorite maternity jeans are from Lilac maternity. They are really pricey on their website but they also do traveling shows at Costco. I live in Utah so I'm not sure if they are in Idaho, but it would be worth a trip down if you find them here. You can call Costco and ask them to search their traveling shows for "Lilac Maternity" and they should be able to tell you when they will have a booth set up at any Costco. They also have skirts, dresses, and tops. And the beauty of buying it at Costco is that they have a great return policy, unlike some of the other maternity-specific stores.
ReplyDeleteWe are so excited for you! I made my husband watch your video with Pat and we both had tears in our eyes :). Thanks for sharing your story, it is inspirational and hopeful. A friend of mine recently lost her daughter and she has really been struggling. I've often wondered if ou could be of assistance to her. Her name is Mimi and you can read her blog at mcdonaldfam.blogspot.com
You (and your growing family) are in our prayers!

ReplyDeleteCome down! Stay with us, we can leave the kids with Dustin and we'll hit the malls. I did find a few things on Amazon through Motherhood maternity. I think they are hit and miss, but worth looking into. Ross has some ok stuff, but they are totally hit and miss. They are cheap, but that means that sometimes they pull funny. But they do have cheap good jeans. And I have a Ross by my house too! :)
ReplyDeleteI would also say Motherhood maternity. They have cute pants that don't look maternity.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter had a very fixed income and she was able to find great clothes at Ross. They are so affordable and stylish! She still wears some of the items she purchased now after having gone back to her pre-baby weight. Congratulations on your blessed news! I am so happy for you! (I'm a twin too)
ReplyDeleteI carried my last baby extremely low (baby #4). I tried maternity pants but being so short-waisted everything was uncomfortable or wouldn't stay on. I wore a ton of leggings and tunics/long sweaters. I ended up getting rid of all my maternity clothes while I was pregnant! I hope you can find things that will work well for you! It makes such a difference being able to feel somewhat cute (albeit large:)) while prego!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the yoga pants I like the Victoria's Secret ones cause they have the fold over fabric. I also just saw that H&M has some really cute maternity jeans. We just got one here in Boise :)
ReplyDeleteHere in Maine, we don't have bery many Maternity stores either. My favorite though with my last Pregnancy was Target. I loved there clothes & they carry the cutest Maternity dresses. I also like Motherhood but they are a bit on the pricey side. You have to watch out for there sales, that's the best time to buy there. :) Congrats on TWINS!!! That's SO exciting! I loved the video of when you told your husband. :) Best of Luck with everything! Hope you are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the baby's. I wanted to tell you that I have followed you from day one of the accident thinking how could you do it. Well. I guess I get to know how you do it. We lost out three year old boy 6 days ago. I would love for you to email me so I could talk to you. I'm friends with Whitney Mackey and Lee poston. Much love Nicole
ReplyDeleteNicoledclyde@hotmail.com
Oh my goodness...just catching up on the last few posts! Didn't know you were expecting and then to be having twins!!! How exciting! I am the Nonny of 14 month old twin boys and another set of twins on the way to my other son!!!!
ReplyDeleteJust stop in Logan :) Ross, Old Navy, Kohls, DI, there's a kids consignment store in the mall now and I think they might have maternity but I am not sure. It is called Lil Kidz Closet. Anyways, I am sure you could find stuff in Logan and itd save you a bit of a drive. Good luck!!

ReplyDeleteI love Old Navy pants, but I would recommend getting the pants that don't have the full panel. They sell ones that go under your belly and if you are having babies in July/August you will want stuff that keeps you as cool as possible. You can also buy XL shirts on clearance and sew elastic along the side seams to create gathers which I really liked also (just google some tutorials...it is really easy).
ReplyDeleteI just saw on Facebook yesterday that this super cute boutique called The Nest on Main is carrying maternity clothes online. The pics they showed were super cute. Follow them on Facebook or I think if u go to thenestonmainstreet.com u can see there stuff. Check it out! Good luck!
ReplyDeleteYou have to try the basic tees and leggings from GAP Maternity. They are ridiculously comfortable, and perfect for every day. Keep your eye out for a big sale- right now 30% off which is about as big of a discount as you can get. I'm telling ya, everything washes well, keeps well and I've used mine now through two pregnancies. Have fun shopping!!
ReplyDeleteAnother vote for old navy. :) I LOVED their jeans.
ReplyDeleteI had some maternity jeans from Old Navy that I LOVED!
ReplyDeleteRoss is where I found some of my all time favorites jeans and tops!! They're all very decently priced too, which helped us a lot!! Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteI've only got one guy inside who is very low and started wearing maternity pants right from the start. When you're feeling yucky, stay comfy! I like checking Ross out every now and again for their selection. I got maternity skinny jeans for $7. Between those and my Motherhood pair I splurged on for $50, I'm ok in the pants department. Also, if you want comfy pants for around the house, I've found the Victoria Secret Pink yoga pants are great. They have the fold down waistband, but I just keep it all the way up. Mine are all black so I don't feel too bad if I have to run errands in them. In SLC, check out H&M as well for fun colors of pants.
ReplyDeleteI splurged on a good pair at Motherhood for $50 which are so comfy. Check out Ross too though because I found some great maternity skinnies for $7. H&M also carries skinnies in fun colors. For around the house, I love Victoria's Secret yoga pants. They have the fold down band, but if you keep it up, they are just nice black maternity pants I don't feel bad about running errands in.
ReplyDeleteIf your not opposed to gently used I'd check out the Kid to Kid's in your area. My first pregnancy I hardly bought any maternity pants because they were so expensive (like $45). This time around I was able to buy a bunch of gently used motherhood maternity pants in the $10-15 range. I was so happy I did. It can be kind of hit and miss so keep looking if their selection isn't up to snuff.
ReplyDeleteI agree with a lot of the other posts. When it comes to dresses or tops that you need a tank for chest coverage or a cap sleeve T for the sleeve you have to try Hapari's shore tank & shore cap sleeve shirts. The length goes just under your bust kind of like a sports bra. So great, especially under a dress because it isn't riding up on your belly. I love them just as much when I'm not pregnant. I am so happy for you and wish you the very best!!
ReplyDeleteIf you are on a budget :) I just went to ROSS maternity section and they had some cute stuff there. There jeans were less than $15.00!! Bargain for sure! It's a good thing you are going to be pregnant during the summer, because when you are at your biggest... you can just wear maxi dresses which are so in and cute on pregnant girls!!! Congrats, so happy for you!
ReplyDeleteForever 21 has the best maternity jeans. Dark skinnies are the cutest and SO comfy. But I honestly found some super cute shorts at Ross, too.
ReplyDeleteI love Old Navy. I just had twins myself and their shirts and pants were very conducive to the twin belly. The problem I had was my big belly pushed the pants down. I also just bought pants/capris in larger size so as I return to "normal" which could be never I have things to wear.
ReplyDeleteRoss is awesome!!! Especially in Logan
ReplyDeletesuper cute tops!
LOVED (currently loving) Old Navy maternity jeans, only issue I had is getting the right size because it's mostly online.
ReplyDeletehttp://lilacclothing.com has the best maternity pants ever, they're on the expensive side but so comfy and you really can wear them after the baby comes too so its worth it.
ReplyDeleteIn four pregnancies I have never found a pair of maternity pants that actually stay up. I say go with maxi skirts. and unlike all the other commenters I have never liked old navy maternity.... don't last as long as gap. gap all the way baby. (or babies in your case) :) or you can go with some of the spendy name brands they carry in a pea in a pod online.... whateva
ReplyDeleteIn four pregnancies I have never found a pair of maternity pants that stay up. I say go with maxi skirts. so comfortable ! And unlike all the other commenters I do not like old navy maternity, haven't had good luck with their quality. ever. Gap, Gap all the way baby ! (or in your case babies) :) Or theres always the spendy designer name brands available at a pea in the pod online.
ReplyDeleteDresses and gacho pants were always my best friend when I was pregnant. Though I did love my old navy maternity clothes, I found that the shirts were too short by the end of my pregnancy. I loved my under the belly jeans from there though. If you can splurge a little, my shirts I got from a pea in a pod were high quality and fit great...and they are still going strong after two pregnancies!
ReplyDeleteold navy. ordered like 90% of my maternity clothes from there. definitely loved their skirts and pants. also i ordered some F21 pants in a size or two up and that helped.
ReplyDeleteI would suggest the bellaband for sure..if you don't want to quite buy maternity pants just yet and can still fit into yours other than the waist. I bought mine I believe from Motherhood Maternity but Target also has one similar. I was able to wear that for a good chunk of my pregnancy with our girls! I know the leggings and the maxi skirts are in, so I would be taking advantage of that one now while pregnant! =)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if someone already said this but pink blush has cute clothes not extremely cheap but you may find one item you love from them.
ReplyDeletehttp://www.pinkblushmaternity.com/c-65-maternity-new-releases.aspx
The key for maternity pants/shorts/skirts is the FULL elastic panel, they stay up and sooo comfortable - Don't get the kind that just have the elastic band at the top of the panel because that digs into the top of your belly. I found the best ones at Motherhood, they may have cost a LITTLE more, but I bought two pair that switched off between my entire pregnancy and was happy and comfy. - GOOD LUCK!
ReplyDeleteI suggest forking out the money for some Motherhood maternity jeans. They are a bit pricier then other stores, but they fit SO much better, especially with twins. At the end of my pregnancy with my twins, those and yoga pants are really all I wore. I had yoga pants from Aeropostale and Sam's club, and loved them both. I bought alot of shirts at ross that worked great (and even were long enough the whole time and I'm 5'11), but I didn't find any pants near as great as the motherhood ones. Since you will be pregnant in the summer, I'd find some capris (jeans and yoga pants). Completely honestly...the last month or so you will mostly be wearing yoga pants and your husbands t-shirts and staying at home as much as possible.:) I'd also recommend getting a belly support or something. With twins, you will have alot more strain on your back, and a belly/back support band helps TONS. I worked till I had my twins (I'm a nurse so I was on my feet), and the back/belly support was ESSENTIAL for me. I even wore it at home because I noticed such a difference in back pain, contractions, etc.
ReplyDeleteForever 21! Or just invest in some really cute sweatpants and for summer, sweatpant capris!
ReplyDeleteZulily.com usually has some cute ones! Good luck with your pregnancy! So excited for you all! I love your blog!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite maternity pants EVER were from Motherhood Maternity. I think that Motherhood Maternity is typically overpriced and I hate that they try and sell you things at the register like magazine subscriptions, BUT these jeans were worth it. They are the only pants that never became floody (and I am only 5'7"). The lady told me American Eagle makes them for Motherhood Maternity. I got them 5 years ago so I don't know if they still have them but it is worth a look. The band around the waste was the kind that is about 3 or 4" high all around. Good luck.
ReplyDeleteI think you should check out a sight called Zulily.com......its on line and have everythingfrom kids to maternity to you name it and the sales are great. most of their stuff is reasonable! Check it out, I think you will like it!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite maternity jeans were from Gap. They were the underbelly kind and I absolutely loved them!
ReplyDeleteMy very favorite maternity jeans are the "secret fit belly" from Motherhood maternity. They might be a little more than other maternity jeans but to be honest it is completely worth the money. I bought other ones and they didn't fit very well and didn't stay up as well either. The secret fit belly has a thinner band and goes up higher. I barely noticed it in comparison with the others that drove me crazy.
ReplyDeleteOld navy. Gap. Target. Motherhood. In that order.
ReplyDeleteShade Clothing (just google that to find the website) is great for basic shirts. The quality is great, and they are really long and usually have a very modest neckline. You can sign up for emails so that you can watch for sales and discounts. They also have free shipping and returns, so you're not out anything if you don't like what you bought. I also got a pair of knit pants from them, and they are so comfortable--it's hard not to wear them every day! I did find that most of my shirts shrunk a tiny bit after I washed them, but I am still happy with them overall.
ReplyDeleteI like old navy's jeans. My favorite are the low-rise boot cut ones with the wide elastic band. My belly sticks straight out and the full belly panels always roll themselves down to my hips anyway.
I think someone above mentioned half-tanks and tees. I love that idea, but didn't want to pay $20 for half of a tank top, so I just took a regular tank top, tried it on to mark where it was below my bosom, then cut off the bottom. You can use the top half with a v-neck shirt, and the bottom half for extra coverage if your shirts start getting short on you. Your belly can expand all it wants between the two halves! It feels much cooler in the summer time to not have the full extra layer.
Ross has a bunch of maternity pants with the stretchy band that goes all the way up! Those are the most comfortable to me and I paid $50 for mine at Motherhood Maternity. So go give Ross a little looksee!
ReplyDeleteDefiantly go look at Ross! As with any trip to Ross, sometimes you win and sometimes, not so much, but for the most part you can always find cute, stylish, comfy and cheap tops. I never purchased any bottoms there, none were ever modest enough. For bottoms I loved old navy and gap. Congrats on the 2 new babies!!
ReplyDeleteForever 21 and H&M both have a maternity line and we all know they have great prices. Plus their clothes are cute and in style!
ReplyDeleteH&m. Cheap stylish. And Super comfy! Congrats!
ReplyDeletefirst time commenting here - i've been following your blog basically since i heard about preslee's accident. you amaze and inspire me!
ReplyDeletecongrats on the twins :) that's exciting!
this area really does stink for maternity clothes (and you'd think they'd fix that with the amount of babies here!) i found my favorite pair of maternity jeans at kohl's - they're supposedly made by motherhood, but definately cheaper in price. they have the "secret panel" and are so comfy. i wore them after my c-section for 6 weeks they were so comfy. i found some cute shirts at motherhood and target too.
There is an outlet mall close to where I live in Ca and they had Destination Maternity, which carried Motherhood and a cheaper version that I could afford and liked. I also bought a few things at Ross and TJ Maxx. If you can check often enough, you can get some cute stuff at those discount stores. I think I also bought some pieces from Kohls and Target. Good Luck finding some things! (Seems like I only ever saw maternity clothes I liked when I wasn't pregnant!)
ReplyDeleteKohls, you can get crazy deals there and add in a coupon!
ReplyDeleteYou look lovely. And happy.
ReplyDeleteThere is a consignment place in Layton utah called Honey bump that has great stuff and its fairly cheap. also motherhood for the secret belly i just got two pair and wore them the whole time it was worth being comfortable
ReplyDeleteThere is a consignment place in Layton utah called Honey bump that has great stuff and its fairly cheap. also motherhood for the secret belly i just got two pair and wore them the whole time it was worth being comfortable
ReplyDeleteRoss and TJ Maxx!
ReplyDeleteI second watching zulily for some great deals! :)
ReplyDeleteDon't cheap out on maternity jeans, trust me! I have been through 4 pregnancies and Motherhood Maternity's Secret Fit belly are the best and totally worth the price! The best place to buy them (and most other maternity clothes) is Kohls-get a card there and sign up for their emails/mailing list and you can get a killer deal.
ReplyDeleteJust Remember Motherhood Maternity Secret Fit belly. They will grow with you and fit you for awhile afterward too. You should even be able to get them in your regular size because at my biggest I could have still stretched the pants out with my arms more.
I live in SLC and I have found that there aren't many Maternity options here or anywhere... It's lame!! I have a few pairs from Motherhood and then Old Navy and ROSS!! Ross if you go on a good day they have tons of options. my opinio... it's not really worth drive\ing all the way down here, I.F. has pretty much they same options.
ReplyDeleteI second honey bump maternity in Layton, I bought almost all me maternity clothes there last year, they are very affordable!!! Good luck :)
ReplyDeleteCostco carries Lilac maternity at various times, sign up for their email and they will email you their roadshow schedule. My other favorite was Ross. Way cheap but still cute.
ReplyDeleteMy most recent (third) pregnancy I stumbled upon Three seasons Maternity jeans....
ReplyDeleteI loved them! They were worth every penny and very flattering. And perfect right after I had the little one!
I also purchased same Shade maternity shirts and those became one of my staples!
TJ maxx and ross have cute maternity jeans, I wore down east shirts in a size bigger than normal (while prego with a 10 pounder!) I got a lot of stuff from old navy because they had tall sizes as well. Also target has there bands belly bands i think and it looks like you are wearing a long tank but allows you to cheat and unbutton your non maternity pants and keep them up, also great for after babies are born and you are not quite back into your normal size yet;)
ReplyDeleteOh man, if only I had waited another few months to get rid of my maternity clothes! I totally would have shipped them all to you. I am done after 4 and I had some great maternity clothes in the end since I had to buy new ones after 3 pregnancies and actually having some money to buy NEW ones as opposed to many of the 2nd hand stuff I got with #1 and 2. So sad but I second all that has been said, look at Ross, Target actually has some really cute stuff in their maternity section and check out any discount store like TJ Maxx and places like that. I LOVED my Shade shirts too - so good for just comfy basics!
ReplyDeleteI got most of my tops from either Pink Blush Maternity (www.pinkblushmaternity.com) or from Totsy.com or Zulily.com. I would wait until they went on sale/clearance at Pink Blush (which happened often) before I bought them. I wasn't thrilled with what I got at Old Navy, but Target had some great deals on tops and stuff. My biggest issues were pants. They required a little splurging, but I've been lucky to only need my 2 pair of jeans to get through my pregnancy. I got them at Destination Maternity. They have some great deals too, but their pants can get pricy. I have very long legs and it has always been very difficult to find pants that fit, so I needed to spend a little extra on pants for this adventure. Good luck and I can't wait to see more about these babes, Ledger and your journey!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Beautiful Momma! How exciting for you, Patrick and Ledger (and of course sweet Angel Preslee) to welcome two beautiful little spirits into your family! I always had the best success (and cutest finds) at Ross and Motherhood Maternity! Good luck on the clothes shopping, I hope you'll post pics!
ReplyDeleteI bought some shirts online from burlington. And I love them. I lost my baby shortly after getting them so I will save them for my next pregnancy. They are cheep too!! best of luck with everything. I love reading your blog. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteASOS is a great website for stylish cheap maternity clothes.
ReplyDeleteGreat Blog Ashley :)
ReplyDeleteI got my maternity wear online through morphmaternity, and i must say i was impressed. They have good dress collections that i wore quite often even after the pregnancy. And their formal wears is what i totally depended on workdays. They are really comfortable and affordable. Couldn't resist not sharing this bit of information here :)
I know it's been a while since this post but I wanted to suggest Zulily. I sent you an email with info, they are having a big maternity event Monday.
ReplyDeleteGinger
Haute Mommies and Bella Babies in Houston or on-line at www.HMandBB.com super cute on trend stuff, most of it's made in the US and very high quality. It's a little more expensive than the big box stores but it's worth it. Most of the stuff incorporates nursing options too so you'll get more than just a few months wear out of it!! Congratulations and good luck :)!!
ReplyDeleteI found the most comfortable pair of Maternity Shorts from Burlington Coat Factory the other day. They have such great prices. They were HALF what I saw them for in the department store and they are so comfy. I know I will be living in them this summer.
ReplyDeleteActually I love old navy maternity, because its cheap maternity clothes and suit for every where. My favorite web is http://www.mommyliciousmaternity.com
ReplyDeleteAt mommylicious maternity, you can buy a variety of maternity clothes at decent prices.
ReplyDeleteAwewsome maternity clothes.
ReplyDeleteawesome maternity clothes.
ReplyDeleteAwesome maternity
Pretty remarkable post. I simply came across your blog and desired to say that I have really enjoyed searching your blog posts.
