Isn't he cute?
I still get giddy celebrating holidays with a kid again.
It was the first year Pat and I didn't dress up, but we had fun focusing on
Like I said, Ledger still wasn't back to normal, so we took Halloween as he permitted.
We had three different parties, three different nights.
Monday night we attended our annual Halloween Party at the Erikson's house. We ate an awesome dinner, and the Marlor's played a little prank with one of the caramel apples...the apple was replaced with an onion. Wyatt was a good sport and we all laughed pretty hard :)
Tuesday night, we attended our church's Halloween carnival. My group of girls, the Mia Maids, were in charge of the fish pond. Sorry, no pictures, Ledger didn't last long.
Tuesday night Ledger was up till 3:00 AM, which made for one grumpy Batman the next day. But even a whiny kid needs to have some fun right? I was determined not to miss out on any festivities, so we attended a fun lunch with some friends at my friend Candee's house.
Making a mess in Kayson's room. Sorry buddy.
Lovin' his pizza and hot dog.
Emree, the bumblebee.
Rachael and Emily. Excited for Em, who is expecting!
Candee, Me, Tiana
Nash lovin' some Halloween goodness.
Hayden stopped me and said, "Cheese." Too cute.
It doesn't get much better than this. Ledger's first cupcake. I was shocked when he grabbed it and actually ate it. Surgery was a success!
We didn't go trick or treating... instead sledgehammer slept. (He doesn't eat candy anyway) Later that night, we dropped by Grandma and Grandpa Sullengers house for a little bit. It was fun to see Ivy and Sawyer dressed up in their costumes. And even more fun watching Sawyer go nuts over all of his candy.

I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!
Ledger looks so cute! I'm sorry he had a rough Halloween! I can't wait till the little guy is back to 100% for you! And by the way thanks for sharing your thoughts on grief and sharing such sacred pictures to you! It's been a rough few months for me the hardest part is knowing Jayci's 3rd birthday is coming up. I don't know how that happened or where the time has gone! Just know that I always appreciate your thoughts! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get his adorable batman beanie??
ReplyDeleteWhat camera do you use? Your pictures are beautiful! I am glad Ledger is feeling better, he looks 100% better in the recent pictures!!! Hope all is well!
ReplyDeleteIt's kind of a tricky answer. The first half of the pictures on this post were taken by my friend, Lindsey Marlor, she uses a Nikon d7000 35mm lens. The second half and the camera I use for all other posts is a Canon Rebel T3i, with a 55 mm lens. Hope that helps.
DeleteBatman was adorable. Hope he is doing better every day. My little grandson was superman. He especially loved the cape. Tcare and thanks for being an inspiration to lots of us out in blogworld!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun holiday! Ledger looked gorgeous. I love all the amazing decorations.
ReplyDeleteYou always seem to have a fun Halloween. Glad Ledger was at least able to get in his costume and enjoy a cupcake! What a stud, love the hat.
