My uncle Rodd's brother, and Patrick's boss, Chad Erikson, was recently diagnosed with cancer. He is currently in UT at the Huntsman Cancer Institute receiving chemotherapy. Read his story here. We're heartbroken, and praying for the Erikson family.
We truly believe every prayer is heard.
I will keep Chad and his family in my prayers. My husband was treated for cancer at Huntsman. Excellent doctors. I pray this young man beats the cancer. Ashley....you are a wonderful person who knows how hard life can be. I think it is so kind of you to add this to your blog so we can add our prayers to the many others.

ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear this. My brother has been fighting a battle against leukemia for the past 7 months. He went from being a doctor to a patient over night. Such an awful battle. I will be praying.
ReplyDeleteMany prayers. Such a small world. My sister-in-law, Robin, is Chad's cousin. So many people love and care about Chad, and he is an Erikson after all, so he will fight like the dickens. You are so sweet to post for him. The more prayers the better for so many people.
ReplyDeleteOh man! How sad! We will pray for him and hope all goes smooth.
ReplyDeleteThoughts and prayers with this family! I know how devastating and life altering a cancer diagnosis is, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Dr. Dickson is my oncologist, and he is an amazing man. I can honestly say that he was an instrument in God's hands as he selected my treatment. Please let them know that we are thinking of them and we believe in them!!! After the diagnosis, the first week or so, I can honestly say it gets better, no matter how sick you get. It's all downhill from the diagnosis.
