With much anticipation, 2:45 finally arrived last Thursday.
(The week went by sooo slow)
(The week went by sooo slow)
Elder Siddoway was happy to be home after a 27 hour flight from Brazil.
All the pictures that were taken, except this blurry one, are on my parents camera, so I'll overwhelm you all later.
But we've had a fun couple of days, especially taking Rhett shopping.
Believe it or not, styles have changed in the past two years, and he was a good sport about his older sister being his personal stylist.
Good times.
We're definitely glad to have you home Rhetters.
Looking forward to next weekend when all the family arrives to hear you report.
Oh and Rhett, the drink you forced upon on us Thursday night, the one that all the missionaries bring back, and everyone shares the same straw... it was disgusting.
ha ha ha! my husband served in argentina and i agree. matte is disgusting. but look at that face and how excited he is, totally worth a taste! glad u have your adorable little bro home!
ReplyDeleteYAY for brothers coming home! :D
ReplyDeleteI had a Brother go to Brazil and he brought it home to. I would not try it though. He loves it. Glad your brother is home safe.
ReplyDeleteThose faces are hilarious! That drink looks absolutely disgusting. lol
ReplyDeleteI am from NC, so of course I am also repulsed by the Tarheels shirt (definitely an NC State fan!):)
Yeah for all of you. So glad you are all together again. He looks JUST LIKE your Dad:)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time together.
Mate is an acquired taste and must be served properly. You cannot burn the water or the yerba is horribly bitter. My parents hubby and three kids Love mate....I personally would rather st have water..but to each his own...he he he.
ReplyDeleteI hate Mate too! What is it with missionaries bringing that stuff home. Who puts a bunch of tree-bark type stuff in water and calls it good ;) Glad your brother is back!
ReplyDeleteThat drink looks disgusting! BTW, the picture of your brother and your dad...Preslee looks A LOT like him!
ReplyDeleteI love having family members come home! I never had a brother so I can only imagine the excitement level at your house!~ So fun!
ReplyDeleteYes, I've had a taste of that drink! Very weird. :) haha Hope you don't mind me following your blog; it's so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYay, so happy for you your brother is back! My little brother went to Brazil too. :)
ReplyDeleteAshley, my son served in Porto Alegre and yes he made us drink it also. Nasty stuff. I am glad he is home and you can enjoy him once again. (((hugs)))
ReplyDeleteAshley, I have been following your blog ever since the accident. I do not know you personally but I think of you often and about your sweet kids. Both of my kids are exactly 10 days younger than both of your kids. My first reaction upon seeing your brother on here is, Preslee resembles him a lot. I think it must be the eyes.
