I love the people I've met through this blog.
I learned she shared our story on her craft blog while we were in the hospital with Preslee.
When I hear things like this, it humbles me, and makes me so incredibly grateful for the amazing support we've been given.
All of this led me to type Preslee's name into Google.
I became overwhelmed with all the blogs and websites that have shared our story, and now continue to check in on our life. I spent a good amount of time reading many of your blogs, and learning about many of you.
Thank you. There are so many big hearts out there, and so many kind people in this world.
I thought Ashley from Make it and Love it said it best in her e-mail she recently sent.
"This world is so big.....but blogging makes it so small. I think when
we read about others online, we take a little piece of them into our
real lives when otherwise we would have never known them. And that's
pretty cool."
Thanks Ashley for the hat and everything else you've done for our family.
We appreciate all of you in the blogging world who have reached out to us in anyway.

I love that statement! It is so true! I love following your blog, I find it so inspirational. Thank You.
ReplyDeleteI follow your blog faithfully, and everytime I read it, I am reminded to be thankful for everything and enjoy every moment with everyone! You are such a strong family and I pray that God continues to bless you all!
ReplyDeleteSO, SO, TRUE! I second all of that! It is crazy how because of a blog you can feel like you know someone so well, love them, consider them a friend...and you have never even seen them or heard their voice. It's so wierd but yet we so need it. Even though sometimes I feel alone in our personal situation...just connecting with others who have been through a rough time and knowing that you aren't alone helps you get through...as you watch amazing people like yourself overcome and move forward you gain a sense of hope and confidence that you can do it too! Thanks for being one of those courageous examples to me!!! Thanks for your comments. I often find myself comparing my life to yours...if maybe Dakota wouldn't have made it what it may look like. So grateful for our little ones that are doing such a great work that we can't even comprehend!
ReplyDeleteI think I saw how you do the tabs just haven't had time to sit and work on it. Now I need to know how did you change the whole background and stuff.
Love ya!

I LOVED READING ABOUT SWEET PRESLEE, WHAT A SWEET ANGEL AND YOUR LITTLE LEDGER IS A LITTLE STUD MUFFIN! THANKS AGAIN FOR MAKING ME THINK FOR THE BRIGHTER FUTURE AGAIN! I KNOW THERE'S GOING TO BE BUMPS ALONG THE WAY, BUT IT HELPS SEEING OTHERS CLIMB IT AND CONQUER IT AS WELL. I'M GOING TO KEEP CHECKING IN! MY BLOG IS NATEANDCHELSEY.BLOGSPOT.COM Ü

That's so cool :) that's an awesome experience. Could you send me your layout code please. I'd love it!! I just love your blog :D
ReplyDeleteI prayed so hard for your little monkey as she fought for her life. I was just a mess that entire week as I followed her story. I think that once you have been through is yourself, watching someone else travel that path is even more heartwrenching. I know that you know because you have posted about other families as well. We belong to the club that no one wants to belong to.
ReplyDeleteI would not be the person that I am today without the support of this blogging community. They are amazing! They held me up (and continue to do so) when our family and friends walked away. So thankful that I live in this amazing age of technology.
Hugs,
Trisha
ps- I feel very lucky that my sweet rainbow baby shares her birthday. I will ALWAYS think of Preslee as I celebrate my little man each and every year :)
I have been following your blog since the day Ashley shared Preslee's story. Ashley is so sweet and thoughtful.
ReplyDeleteWow Ash, you're so welcome! And look at that little cutie pie Ledger in that hat. That made me smile. Really big. :) (Your sister in law (?) left me a message, letting me know about this post. You're so gracious. I love your big heart Ashley!!)
