Rio is having surgery today, having his skull replaced.
He's a champ.
A fighter.
See you all tomorrow night, come ready to shake it!

DeleteWho asks that? I mean, really? I'm shocked. Show some respect and compassion.
DeleteHow dare you ask that.
DeleteI don't have strong enough words for the asker of the heartless and rude question. Ashley, I hope you didn't even give them the benefit of reading it twice. I hope I can one day be half the mother and wife that you are! Thank you for sharing your story, making your self vulnerable, and strengthening many many testimonies. Much love to you and your sweet little family!
DeleteWould love to come ZUMBA with you! Wish we lived closer, and I hope you guys raise tons of money!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great cause. I've been following Rio's blog since you posted about it. Thank you for all you do, such a great example. You are truly inspiring.
ReplyDeleteVery rude to ask where they were when the ACCIDENT happened to their daughter. Please have some compassion for this lovely couple. Losing someone, especially a child, is hard enough without having people question them.
ReplyDeleteI bet if you, anonymous, have any children you have left them a time or two to have some time to yourself.
Ashley, I am so sorry that you put yourself out there only to have people say things that could make this recovery even harder. I think you are absolutely amazing and extremely brave for all that you have done. Don't let the comment bother you, please. We all love you and think you are an amazing mom and person!!
ReplyDeletePS. I, too, would go to Zumba if I lived closer!! Good Luck with it!
What a great cause! Ashley, you have such a big heart. I have been following for awhile now and I just adore your family!
ReplyDeleteyou're so thoughtful and amazing! i wish i could have make it! too bad i don't live closer. have fun!!!
ReplyDeleteThis little boy went to the school I teach at. What a sad story! You're so good for putting this together!
ReplyDeleteWish I could join you! Maybe you could take me to zumba with you when we are up next month! I miss it!
