I found your blog through my friend and having lost my own baby two years ago, I can relate to some of your posts. I am also LDS and enjoyed reading your insights about forever families. I have also done quite a bit of blogging about my daughter. If you are interested in reading about what I have written please go to my blog and look for any posts entitled "Just Because." http://thedenvernelsons.blogspot.com/
He is so cute! I agree, he does look a lot like pictures of Preslee that I have seen on the blog. You don't know me, but I've made several comments this past year. Our family still prays for your beautiful family. We are so happy for you with this new addition. BTW, the headstone is perfect! It brought tears to my eyes. Hope you and your family are feeling glimpses of peace and comfort. Our thoughts and prayers are still with you. Love, The Leeds Family
I too am someone who found your blog because of your sweet Preslee.
You mentioned in a previous post how hard it is to tell strangers that Ledger is not your only child or that people comment on how "one day when you have a girl..." A dear friend of mine had triplets (2 girls 1 boy) quite a few years ago. A tragic mishap happened in the hospital and within a few months one of her little girl babies passed away from the effects of what had happened. People would comment all the time on her darling "twins" and an immediate stab of pain would hit her. Then, one day, she started telling people that she actually had triplets and that the other baby sister was at home with her Father. Home with her Father! Because she truly was home with her Father in Heaven. No one questioned any more. No one pried. Those that knew her, knew the story.
I hope maybe this might help you find a way to bring happiness when talking about your newest little one. He is darling.
He looks so much like the pictures I have seen of Preslee. He is beautiful!
