This little guy is 3 and half months old. This past week he has put on some weight, due to the fact that his appetite has suddenly increased and eats a lot more at each feeding, about 6-8 oz every time. He's more alert, and loves playing with his rattle or anything he can grab on to. He's pretty much given up his binky, we sure do miss it during church.
He's a great little sleeper when I keep him on schedule. This last week he slept for 11 hours straight two different times. He recently found his voice and wants to constantly talk to someone. (Pat is happy that there is now someone else in our house who loves to listen to me talk all day long) His crying has lessened once we figured out his stomach issues and now seems to sit and happily entertain himself more often. Pat teases me and says if I never put him down I'm going to spoil him rotten, but at this point I still can't seem to get enough of him :) He seems to be a little attached to his mama (Pat says because I never put him down) but I don't really mind. Pat may seem tough with him, but when he thinks I'm not looking he's just as soft as I am. We're both definitely smitten by this little guy.
CUTE picture! He's sure a cute little guy. I hated when Ky gave up her binky, good luck at church. :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so happy! Way to go Ledge for sleeping 11 hours straight, that's awesome. And you just keep holding that baby as long as he will let you. I don't think you can spoil a baby that young!
ReplyDeleteYou hold him as much as you want!! I would too. He is adorable!
ReplyDeletewow he is getting soo big!! 11 hours a night?? Seriously? I don't want to hear it. JEALOUS.
ReplyDeleteYou are just showing ledger how much you love him by not putting him down. i dont think there is such a thing as spoiling him to much by never wanting to put him down. they are only this little once. right!?...He is the cutest thing! my daughter just turned 2 months old on the 26th are babys are very close in age.
ReplyDeleteHe is getting so big. I love the beautiful blue eyes. He is such a cutie pie.
ReplyDeleteMy baby boy is only one day older and I swear I could just copy and re-post your post on my blog about my little guy. They even have a similar look to them. I am not ready to give up the pacifer yet though. I love just laying in bed at night and having him lay between us and having him talk to us and tell us all his big stories from the day. My husband is a big baby suck though, he walks through the door and demands to hold his baby. Enjoy him while he is little they grow up way too fast, I have four older ones and I often wonder where the time has gone.
ReplyDeletei would never put him down either! he's amazingly beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHe is the cutest little guy! He always has the cutest facial expressions in all his pictures. I'm so happy you have him.
ReplyDeleteSeriously Ashley.... he's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have to agree that I couldn't put him down either!!!!! Great picture!!!
ReplyDeleteSo. Dang. Cute! Seriously, so cute! And, I've said it before and I'll stick to it. He looks just like you! We miss you guys! We need to get together... It's been way too long! Give Ledge hugs and kisses from us!
ReplyDeleteMy Pedi said that for the first 9 months you can hold them as much as you want. It will not spoil them. So hold and hold away!!!
