My first graders were completing a page from their handwriting book. At the end of each page there is a random thing to write about. Last week the writing prompt was, "Write about the kind of songs you like." Click here to see my favorite of the day. I got a pretty good laugh out of it. :)

LOL I got my laugh for the day! Thank you for sharing. I especially loved the art of the little boot :)
ReplyDeleteReally? Why are little kids listening to that stuff?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I do love you blog. I think about you and your family often. Thank you for sharing your story! Your willingness to openly share your experience and feelings will help many people for the rest of your lives. Thank you for sharing such a precious, hard-won gift with the rest of us. You and your little angel have inspired me.
ReplyDeleteSo funny! He must have older brothers and sisters to be so familiar with such a hip song!
ReplyDeleteI was driving today and thinking about you and your sweet trial...don't know why, but I thought that the perfect name for your baby boy would be Nathan. It's meaning is perfect..."a special gift." And that is exactly what you are getting. Take care. You continue to be in my thougts and prayers.
Hilarious!! This week my class was cutting out pictures of nouns and verbs. I thought I had done a thorough check, but one little girl in my class had a picture of KY Jelly and said it was to make you slick!!!!! Yikes!! It turned out that she thought it was lotion, but I was still about to die laughing!!
ReplyDeleteI recently met the couple who started www.remembertheone.org and thought it was something you might be interested in.

Hi, my name is Jen Wright. I have been at PCMC for the last 12 days with my daughter, Carla, who is awaiting a heart transplant. This afternoon the staff brought me a red bag full of treats and necessities for living at the hospital. I just wanted to tell you how appreciative I am of your generosity and also how touched I was by your story. I am so sorry for your loss. It is inspirational though how you have turned your heartache into something so kind and loving.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless you and thanks again, Jen Wright
