Just a little note to let you know that I'm praying for you and for your precious baby up in heaven. I wandered here to your blog from another person's blog... You are very strong and brave! God bless you!
I'm new too to your blog. Your positive attitude and strong spirituality are very uplifting. What is the Pay It Forward project? I couldn't find a link that explains it directly.
I can't even remember how I found your blog, but I check in on you every once in a while. Our little girls are the same age, about two weeks a part. I can't begin to understand the depths of your heartache, but I can donate to help you help others in similar situations. Good luck finishing up this project!
Hey Sid, just wanted to say congrats on the exciting news of the baby! My family and I are so happy for you and Pat. The Pay It Forward project you have headed up is amazing. You, Pat, and Preslee have blessed so many lives. It will be such a blessing for your new little baby to be born into such a great family.
I dont know you but I just read your blog. I don’t have any children yet but after reading you blog I take more videos and pictures of me, my husband and dog. I’ll do it in the future too with my children. I write in my journal and blog. Thank you for sharing your story. It touched my heart, brought tears to my eyes and you’ve really helped me know what to do since my cousin and co-worker have both recently lost a baby. You can do hard things. Thank you for your strength and writing this blog. You and your husband are so cute!
I wasn't sure where to post this, so I thought I'd write it here. I read this on someone else's blog and thought of you as well as a friend of mine who lost her daughter almost 2 years ago and is expecting a baby now as well. Praying for you as you both rejoice and grieve.
"I have been looking for the explanation of the term “rainbow baby” since Sawyer’s birth. I was tossing ideas around in my head for his six month old post and stopped by a loss mom’s blog and there it was… In some circles, babies born to families after the loss of a child are referred to as “Rainbow Babies.” The idea is that the baby is like a rainbow after a storm. “Rainbow Babies” is the understanding that the beauty of a rainbow does not negate the ravages of the storm. When a rainbow appears, it doesn’t mean the storm never happened or that the family is not still dealing with its aftermath. What it means is that something beautiful and full of light has appeared in the midst of the darkness and clouds. Storm clouds may still hover but the rainbow provides a counterbalance of color, energy and hope."
