Pat's brother Jamie brought over his laptop. We were amazed at the amount of pictures and videos he had. He had more videos of the last few months of Preslee's life than we did. Every time I would get out the camera to film she would stop what she was doing and stare back. But Jamie was able to capture what we miss most-absolute craziness.
Grandpa Sullenger, this post is for you. Preslee loved visiting your house, especially when she was taken on razor rides. She loved Grandma Sullenger, especially when she would let Preslee steal her water bottles and let her play in the dirt. There was always a pantry full of dried blueberries and a candy dish filled to the brim with M&M's. And who wouldn't want to play for hours with dominoes and puzzles with uncle Wyatt? There's no doubt she loved you. This video came from Jamie, and I thought it depicted how she terrorized your house perfectly. We Love you, and we know you meant the world to Pres.
What a huge spirit in such a little body! Little Preslee is so loved and loved life, obviously! I sure enjoy reading your blog...it is so inspiring and I thank you so much for your amazing outlook on life and for using this as a missionary tool for those all over the world. Keep up the great work! You are in my thoughts and prayers...

What a sweety! It's easy to see why everybody loved her. I want you to know that your blog has impacted my life more than anything. I find strength in reading your posts. Thank you for allowing us to continue to follow your lives. You've made a huge difference on mine. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling, active little girl! Such a small and simple moment in your lives but it made me realize that I should never take anything or any moment as just a small thing-but as an enormous blessing! That we will never know what God's plan is for us and our loved ones.
ReplyDeleteIt never ceases to amaze me at how much I learn and feel from reading your posts and seeing your little Pres. I can't imagine how proud she is of you and what an impact you are making on so many people through her. "How great shall be your joy with him, in the kingdom of my Father" is a scripture that comes to mind often when I read your blog, seeing how your spread the gospel.
I am also so grateful that you have the gospel and know that she will always be yours. It would tear me apart if you didn't. This also makes me realize that there are so many people who don't, and that I need to be a better missionary! Thanks Preslee and Ashlee for teaching me so, so much!!!
What a cute video! She reminds me of what my niece is like. Pop is the favourite in our family. She was a gorgeous little girl!
ReplyDeleteyour pay if forward entry reminded (cause bdays=christmas) me of a lady in our ward who lost one of her twins..she was 22. They wanted to put up her christmas stocking after she passed away, but were unsure if they should or not, so they decided to fill the stocking by writing down ways they each could improve their life, or something they could do better so that they could be with their sister and daughter again. they put their papers in her stocking and pulled them out the next year to see how they did. p.s. i can a little to your fund, hope this helps with your pay it forward. What a great idea!
ReplyDeleteShe is so cute! I loved watching this video.. in fact I watched it more than once! :) I'm so glad you have some videos of these precious moments you can forever cherish!
ReplyDeleteMan, I'll bet all these pics and videos are so nice to have one more piece of her to hold onto until you can hold her again! This made me cry! We really miss her!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great little girl. I'm so sad for your loss. Thank you for sharing your testimony and lessons learned with the world.
ReplyDeleteI hesitated mentioning this... When my nephew was in the PICU at PCMC 5 years ago for about a month over Christmas time, my sister wanted to pay it forward after my nephews recovery, for all the families that are there over the holiday season. So she put together baby blankets and hats and such for all the families in PICU and did this every year, we would all donate as a family and others heard of her efforts and the'd send her packages from all over, until she was at The Festival of Trees last year and saw PCMC selling the handmade quilts, hats and booties that she had made for the patients! I remember her calling me before Christmas last year very emotional and hurt(We almost had all the bundles complete for the year). She went ahead and called the relations head at the hospital to find out how they wer eselling her donations and was told they have a storage room full that they needed to make space in. Last year she didn't go through with her tradition. I'd hate for your generosity to go unused. Good luck and I hope you the very best!!
ReplyDeleteHere is one of the posts on my sis's blog:
