Hi all, it's Aunt Nic again. I just talked to Pat. He got to hold Preslee last night. They are so grateful for those precious moments that they get to connect so intimately with her little spirit. She is back on the blood pressure medication today. She started struggling to keep that regular so it's just better to help her on the med and not make her little body work so hard. Pat and Ashley realize that she just needs time to heal and rest. Thank you all for the comments and messages that you all are sending their way. They love you all and just ask that you all keep Preslee in your thoughts and prayers.
Love, Aunt Nic

God is a great and mighty healer and it sounds like Preslee is quite a little fighter. I'm praying that God will work through the doctor's and nurses and medicines to bring complete healing to her.

ReplyDeleteWe are praying for your sweet sweet family! Our Heavenly Father is so aware of our Trials and He comforts us when it gets too hard, I am grateful to have the Gospel in our lives and will continue to pray for you guys!! Little Preslee is adorable and will pull through this!!While our little miracle Brynlee was in the NICU an aunt of mine told me one day when things were tough that "this too shall pass" at the time it felt like it would take years, but now that she is home I think of that trial often and find myself stronger because of it!!! Faith, the Priesthood and our Heavenly Father can guide us through the most difficult of times. Even though I don't personally know you I love you and will call our new Temple here in the Gila Valley and put your names on the prayer roll!!! Hang in there

ReplyDeleteI am in awe of how amazing your family is holding through this. Thank you so much for keeping us updated as much as possible. I wish in some way I could have known what to do when you walked into the waiting room. Your family has an amazing team of doctors and nurses. I know that from a very personal perspective. Your family is still in the ER's thoughts and prayers, where you will continue to be for a long time to come.

I came across your story on the idearoom blog. I followed it here and cried most of the night for your little family. My only daughter is the same age as yours right now and I can't even imagine what you are going thru! I have told everyone I talk to about your story and you are in my prayers and my thoughts. I feel very strongly that the power of one prayer is so great, but, the power of many praying together can open the blessings of heaven. I hope those blessings are given to your family and your sweet baby girl!! Best of luck and I will keep watching to see how things improve. Also, thanks to your aunt for giving the updates. Your energies are needed elsewhere!!

ReplyDeleteI heard about Preslee through Cara on Facebook. We used to work together. My family and friends have added Preslee to your prayer list. She will be receiving prayers from Indiana, Kentucky, Georgia, Rhode Island and Virginia. There is awesome power in prayer to say the least. May God watch over Preslee and her loving family.
We continue to pray for your sweet little angel!! and for the Two of you. May Hevenly Father's Blessings be upon you.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you both were able to hold Preslee. Those pictures are priceless and pull at my heart. I am praying for you and can't stop thinking about you. You're blog is continually up on my computer and I can't wait for an update! We are praying for all of you from Fullerton, CA. :)
ReplyDeleteTaiwan is praying for little Preslee and the Sullengers (Taichung and at the Taipei Temple). Our hearts go out to you and we know that miracles can happen, we are the recipients ourselves of tender mercies that have kept us on our mission. I drowned at about 18 months myself and was somehow miracuously revived. Trust in the Lord and His will. Sister and Elder Greene, Taiwan Taichung Mission (Jessica's parents)
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine what you are going through. I heard about your blog through the news station and I just wanted you to know that my heart goes out to you and that my prayers are with you and your sweet girl. I pray that she heals and all is well. Thank you for updating us and know that I am thinking about you.
ReplyDeleteI heard your story on the news tonight and was touched and I wanted to tell you that your little girl will be in my prayers! It's one of the hardest things to watch your child go through something like this. I had twins, a boy and a girl a little over a year ago that were born 17 weeks early. Our little boy only lived for 17 days but our little girl fought hard and is still with us today. I pray that your little girl will fight hard and that the Lord will bless you with extra strength through this difficult time. I know the prayers and fasting of those around us helped us tremendously.
ReplyDeleteMy family is praying for you. I have a two and half year old and she helped say the prayer last night for little Preslee. I am constantly thinking of your family even though I don't know you personally.
