Sunday Afternoon Update

Hi all, it's Aunt Nic again. I'm still at the hospital with little Preslee. Ash and Pat asked that I explain some of the medical stuff that is going on. When Preslee went into cardiac arrest, all of the blood rushed to her major organs to try to keep her alive. That has all been ok so far. Her little lungs and kidneys are all stabilizing. The hard part now is her brain. Because of the lack of oxygen, Preslee's little brain is swelling and there is nothing that the medical team can do. Her little brain will swell for awhile and so we wait....and wait....and wait...and love her and talk to her and hold her little hand and kiss he chubby cheeks. After 72 hours the swelling will start to subside and then we will see what happens from there. They will assess the brain damage and then go from there. Pat and ashley have read you comments and are so appreciative of all your thoughts and prayers. They have felt the power of your fasting. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
