Hi all. This is ashley's aunt nic. I am helping Ashley and Pat out with updates on little Preslee. Some of you don't know what happened so here is a brief overview. At around 8:00 Friday night Preslee fell into a canal in rugby. About 2 miles down the canal a farmer who was working in the water saw her and immediately started CPR. His brother was with him and called 911. She was air lifted to EIRMC and then flown down to Primary Children's Hospital. Pat, Ashley and Jodi flew down and met her at the hospital. Things looked pretty hopeless this morning, but around 5:00 tonight she started to open her little eyes and respond to Pat, Ashley and grandparents when they talked to her. The doctors are still warning them that there will be ups and downs, but tonight is a very up night. No one knows what the outcome of this all will be, but what we all know is that little Preslee is strong and courageous, and so is her family. Please keep them in your prayers. Nic

ReplyDeleteI know the family does not know me, but my husband is one of the officers dispatched to help Preslee. I feel so close to this family and we have never met.....My husband is a strong man and in all his years of being a police officer I have never seen anything affect him the way this has. We are praying for this little angel and hope the best for her. Thanks for keeping us updated.
