It's been a week! I can't believe it! I have loved every minute of it! Pres is such a good baby! She rarely cries, and when she does it's not very loud. She only wakes up 1 to 2 times a night! She seriously sleeps 4-6 hours each night. Let's just hope she stays this way! Pat's been amazing and has taken care of both of us! It's been fun to see how much Pat loves her.
Pres lost over a pound which put her to 5 lb's 8 oz, they got a little nervous so I've had a few check ups to work on that. She's so small! Slowly but surely she's starting to put weight back on! Maybe one day she'll fit into her newborn clothes!
On the third day they realized she has jaundice, after a few tests she was right on the border line but we don't have to do the whole treatment with her!
I can honestly say I don't think Pat and I have ever been happier! She's been the best thing for us! We're definitely learning as we go. I realized all the pics we have of her are when she's sleeping! We'll have to work on getting some with her eyes open!!
Bath time!! She can't get enough of it!
She's a thumb sucker!!! She tries to suck it through her mittens! And seriously not one outfit fits yet! I love it!
Ashley I love the update! I love the pictures! You guys sounds so wonderful and loving life!!! Thats so great! Its amazing what a little baby does to people! They are miracles! I'm glad you can enjoy Christmas now! Hope you have a Merry Christmas!!!

ReplyDeleteGood to see new pictures, us Memphians need lots of pictures since we don't get to be there! But we get to see her tomorrow so yeah! I hope Pat is feeling better! She looks a lot like Pat from the pictures so we will have to see her in real life. Can't wait!

ReplyDeleteThe Jazz game was awesome, and so was the date. We've been out a couple times since then, and we're going to a concert New Years Eve...but don't get excited, he moves slower than I do! :) So we'll see how that goes. He's in Provo, which is kinda cramping my style, but what is distance when you consider eternity? haha, it's late and I'm at work trying to stay busy while my patients are sleeping. Maybe you're feeding your baby...
The wedding was fabulous by the way. And you know how Rach is, she was totally giddy and all smiles the whole day. I loved it! Janae was there with her baby, and she is adorable! Janae said she's in the 105th percentile of weight. You'd believe it if you held her.
