Palisades

Last week, early Monday morning, the Siddoway Clan and My Uncle Mark and Aunt Laura (Mark is practically like my brother) and grandparents headed up to Palisades for three days of camping and BOATING...so we thought.

Monday we set up camp and before we knew it, there was a huge rainstorm! Holy crap did it rain. I honestly don't know if I had ever been in a rainstorm like that before. Everything was soaked, flooded, wet, you get the picture! So needless to say we didn't get out on the lake the first day!

Tuesday, my dad went to start the boat and guess what, the key had been left on,(the mechanic who had worked on it left it on) so the battery was dead, and somehow he forgot to put the plug in the boat, which ruined the starter we later found out. After a long day of trying to fix the boat, we took it to a mechanic and finally got it running. Another day went by without the boat again!

Wednesday we got up early, and we did some serious boating!! It was a fun day! Being pregnant was a little tough, being left out of all the action! Alisha and I were dying to do something so my dad offered to take us on a tube ride!! haha Don't worry he didn't get too crazy! But it was fun to be able to do at least something! Before long Pog jumped on and ya know what, she rode that tube more than once! She loved it! Anyway, we had a fun weekend and it was fun to finally get some boating in after a long semester!
